Barnardo's are the UK's biggest children's charity. They support the UK's most vulnerable children and young people. Rainbows Children's Hospice
At Rainbows the emphasis is on enriching life and making each minute of each short life count. Children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions come to the Hospice for specialist respite stays, symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care. The recent high profile campaign by Emmerdale actress Claire King has helped shout the message of the World Horse Welfare who strive to stop the suffering of horses today through the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing, and help prevent the suffering of horses tomorrow, through campaigning, educating and training. Jeans for Genes
Their mission is to change the world for children with genetic disorders by funding research into the causes and cures of genetic conditions, by providing vital funding for care and support. At Takeback we have supported Jeans for Genes through their infamous Jeans for Genes dress down days in our own office, but that is just one day a year, and as one of our supported charities we hope to be able to help them every day of the year!
