Barnardo's is the UK's largest children's charity, which will see Takeback’s collection and recycling points initially implemented in around 575 Barnardo's retail stores across the UK.
This huge and growing network of stores is a tremendous opportunity for Barnardo's to highlight Takeback's 'zero to landfill' recycling initiative to end users who would otherwise not have the opportunity to recycle responsibly, as well as raising additional funds for such a fantastic charity; with Barnardo’s transforming the lives of more than 200,000 children, young people and their families each year.
Takeback’s Gill Salisbury commented that this was a “win-win for Takeback, Barnardo's and the environment”, and added that “all at Takeback are excited to be part of the recycling partnership with Barnardo's”.
